Abhishek Bansal was born on 22nd May, 1987 in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh and showed interest in trading at the tender age of 15 years. He has a deep passion for the commodity market with a rare knack of understanding all the sectors of the capital markets. He started the first company in Abans Group, a sole proprietorship for commodity trading at the age of 18 as a single man army. Along with a Master’s Degree in Commerce from Mumbai University, he also is a recipient of an Honorary Doctorate.

In 2005, Abhishek Bansal founded ABANS Group, a globally diversified organization engaged in Investment Management, Trading and Broking Services, Lending Services, Running of Gold Refineries, Bullion Trading, Agricultural Trading and Software Development. Under his tutelage, Abans Group has evolved multi-fold from being just a trading house to a quintessential diversified business group, providing expertise in Broking Services, Lending Services, Financial Services, Agri-Commodity Services, Running of Gold Refineries and Trading of Bullion and other precious metals.

Advocacy for Technology[edit]

In 2019, he incorporated a company known as “Zicuro Technologies Private Limited” which has successfully built a secure, comprehensive and global Enterprise resource planning (ERP) software system for the participants in the derivatives market, viz., Brokers, Trading Desks & Banks.
