Because of the way genes spread themselves through populations, something like 90% of the population of England are said to be descendants of, among others, Henry VIII.

I would have thought that the entire human race alive today would be descendants of Shennong and Huang Di.

The grand^n-parenthood of the dragon might be in somewhat greater doubt.
