Thirty incumbents will not seek re-election.[1]

  2. District 20: Kevin O'Connell is retiring.
  3. District 40: Stanley Zeigler is term-limited.
  4. District 59: Raegan LaRochelle is retiring to run for State Senate.
  5. District 64: Colleen Madigan is term-limited.
  6. District 86: Jessica Fay is term-limited.
  7. District 88: Kathy Shaw is retiring.
  8. District 93: Margaret Craven is term-limited.
  9. District 96: Michel Lajoie is retiring.
  10. District 108: Maureen Terry is term-limited.
  11. District 109: James Boyle is retiring.
  12. District 110: Stephen Moriarty is retiring.
  13. District 114: Benjamin Collings is term-limited.

Resignations[edit]

Two seats were left vacant on the day of the general election due to resignations in 2024.

Democrats[edit]

  1. District 14: Lynne Williams resigned April 1 to become a worker's compensation mediator for the State of Maine.[3]
  2. District 51: Rebecca Jauch resigned May 6 to accept a position with the National Marine Fisheries Service's Office of Sustainable Fisheries.[4]
