Add this to your monobook.js:

/****    delaid   ****/
document.write('<script type="text/javascript"' +
  'src="http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:R3m0t/' +
  'delaid.js&action=raw&ctype=text/javascript&dontcountme=s"></script>');

/* This is to keep track of who is using this extension: [[User:R3m0t/delaid.js]] */

You can also add options in the format optionName = value;

Configuration options
Option Values* Description
alwaysMark true, false Always mark an article for speedy deletion; never try to actually delete it. (For non-admins) (not yet implemented)
alwaysReason true, false Always request a detailed reason.
altAction "reason", "noreason" What should happen if the alt key is pressed while you click?
  • reason: request a reason
  • noreason: do not request a reason (useful if alwaysReason is true)

*Default values are listed in bold

But first:

  1. Know your deletion reasons well. Meditate upon WP:CSD under a waterfall.
  2. Be an admin.
  3. You may require monobook. I can't be bothered to test it with anything else.
  4. You may require Firefox (but probably not).
  5. If there's an AFD discussion, always go back and close it.
  6. Check the talk page. Delete it first.

Usage instructions:

  1. Visit CAT:CSD or Special:Newpages.
  2. Set the page to be your "home" for the session (alt-backtick on the keyboard, alt-click on the lower-right box)
    • You should get a message saying that your home was set.
    • If you want to set a permanent home, you can set an option shown above.
  3. Click on an article to check. (Tip: User:Lupin/popups.js will help you locate one quickly)
  4. Determine whether it should be speedied, what criteria, etc.
  5. If it has an AFD, open it in a new tab.
  6. If it should be speedied, delete the talk page (alt-t, alt-d) then go back to the content page (alt-c). Check the history and links (alt-h, then alt-j).
  7. Open the delaid box (alt-backtick). A table of coloured criteria should appear (article criteria in green, general criteria in blue, etc). Click on the right criteria. Wait.
    • If you want to write a reason (e.g. the webpage the text was copied from) you can alt-click on the criteria instead of just clicking. It should prompt you for a reason.
  8. Now go and close the AFD.
  9. You are back at CAT:CSD (or a different "home") if the deletion was successful! Repeat. :)
