Best image to represent Anthropology to non-specialists?[edit]

Would people be willing to discuss whether this is the best possible image to use for articles on anthropology as a discipline? I know that anthropologists could deconstruct it productively, and the fact that it was sent into space is quite interesting, but this kind of 1950s-style ideal type sends an unduly simplified and idealized message for those who don't have (or who don't want to take) the time to consider its origins and intent. And Wikipedia is a place for people to come to get their first encounter with a subject, so maybe this shouldn't be the first thing they see.
