Question[edit]

The caption that accompanys this photo on the IWM website states:

Photographer: Chetwyn (Sgt) No 1 Army Film & Photographic Unit

Title: THE CAMPAIGN IN NORTH AFRICA 1940-1943

Collection No.: 4700-32

Description: El Alamein 1942: British infantry advances through the dust and smoke of the battle.

Period:Second World War

I believe that this information should also be in the description for this photo. There is nothing on this images page or the IWM website that supports the photo being a staged photo involving Aussies in a mock attack agaisnt there field kitchen. While this might be true i believe some sort of citation is needed to support the statement.--EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 15:33, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That's actually incorrect. The picture is staged, the troops are Australian and they are "attacking" their own base's kitchen area. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 62.25.109.197 (talk) 15:29, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
