English: Scarlet Oak avenue, Oakwood Park, London N14. Autumn colours of the avenue of Scarlet Oaks in Oakwood Park. These oaks were planted annually by the Mayor, first of the Borough of Southgate and later the Mayor of the London Borough of Enfield. Unfortunately some of the trees were vandalised some years ago, while some died or were damaged by the weather.
