English: Gemini VII (A19680273000), after the treatment in the Conservations section Mary Baker Engen Restoration Hangar at Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center in Chantilly, VA. Photography by Mark Avino. Photo taken on February 11, 2019. (Gemini VII_0055_5) (NASM2019-10008). Astronauts Frank Borman and James Lovell were launched into orbit aboard this spacecraft, Gemini VII, on December 4, 1965. Their primary mission was to show that humans could live in weightlessness for 14 days, a record that would stand until 1970.
