English: This is an imaginative pencil illustration of a boggart, a creature from English and Scottish folklore that is said to cause all kinds of mischief in people's homes, drawn in 2018 by Spencer Alexander McDaniel. This particular illustration is based in part on a folkloric description of a boggart from T. Sternberg's 1851 book Dialect and Folk-lore of Northhamptonshire as "a squat hairy man, strong as a six year old horse, and with arms almost as long as tacklepoles." This illustration also draws some loose, secondary inspiration from the illustrations of boggarts in the 2005 children's book Arthur Spiderwick's Field Guide to the Fantastical World Around You by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black.
