Summary

Description
English: Each day the UK government reports official statistics on the number of COVID-19 cases in the UK. These statistics are based on people who have had a positive result, following a test. Testing now takes place in the community as well as in hospitals. There will be more actual cases of COVID-19 than have been found through testing. This chart shows the number of cases by date reported (published) by the UK Government - cases may have actually tested positive some time earlier. I have produced this Excel chart based on theses publicly available datasets, up to and including 30 June 2020 (1st wave). Source and licence details for this UK government data are below.
