VJ Sunny is an Telugu actor and television personality who works in Telugu cinema. He gained popularity from the TV serial Kalyana Vaibhogam[1] and Bigg Boss (Telugu season 5).[2]
Early and personal life[edit]
VJ Sunny was born on to Venkateshwarulu and Kalavathi. He has one sibling named Rajitha Devi. Sunny did his schooling at Nirmala High School in Khammam and later, obtained his B.Com degree in Osmania University, Hyderabad.[3]
Career[edit]
He started his career as a video jockey with the TV show Just For Men on Maa Music and later, he worked as a lifestyle journalist and interviewed many renowned celebrities.[4]
In 2017, he debuted as a TV actor as the male lead for the serial Kalyana Vaibhogam[5] in the role of a businessman character opposite Meghana Lokesh.
In 2021, VJ Sunny emerged as the title winner of Star Maa's reality TV show Bigg Boss (Telugu season 5). Sunny won the title along with ₹50 lakh in prize money, a bike, and a plot worth ₹25 lakh.[6][7]
